August was founded
in 1975
this objective has
determined
the products
we make

our customers.
In 1977 we
developed on
site
replaceable upholstery
covers so
that our custom-
ers could
economically
renew
their seating. Three
mechanical
patents were
issued.
Every installation
shown has
this feature. |
Customization
Because of customer
requests we developed
a
comprehensive program
of
customized seating.
This has
resulted in seating to
fit arcs
up to 80 feet in
diameter,
custom widths, shapes
and
options. Working with
architects to carry
projects
to successful
completion, full
size templates have
been
supplied to build
special
shape walls. |
Design & Production
All August seating
designs
are original; to date
eight
patents have been
granted.
In order to control
fully
product quality, all
produc-
tion comes from our
single
modern facility in
Center-
ville, Ohio. All
furniture
products are made and
finished here, from
basic
stock of lumber, foam
and
fabric. No
subcontractors
are used.
