The patented Security Base (SB) connection system is engineered to join chair frame bases in a complete wood to wood connection, available on all models—chairs, sofas, benches and tables.

The SB system features a high performance solid black thermoplastic covering material, designed to withstand impact in high use public spaces. Connectors overlap unit connections, creating a continuous base surface.

A floor plan for connection of the units is required, to identify individual units, end and center corner models, as well as a correct count of connectors. Additional base corner ends are available for future reconfiguration or stand alone units.
SB Base Connections

SB base connectors are $39 list per pair; extra base corner ends are $8 per pair.

A pair of “GARITM” installation tools is supplied with the original order; additional GARI tools are available at $6 per pair.

Allen bolts pass through a hardwood connector into insert nuts, making a very tight, secure connection.
Security base (SB) chairs, benches, and tables frame bases are made to accept matching connector blocks. End units are finished with corner ends at front and back.

If you wish to split groupings, or use chairs separately, additional corner ends may be added to finish the open base ends. Corner ends may also be removed to rearrange units and join to others with connector blocks.
Plinth Base - PB models

The LS Series is also available with our standard plinth bases, which are faced with plastic laminate on all sides; standard is black. Special colors are available as listed:
