![]() A contemporary reception area for the Firestone headquarters was needed to replace its small elevator lobby entry. The spacious new plan called for four quadrants of seating to fit in the central area, with curved shapes matching the circular plan. |

| Linn? Series segments provided the right form with true radius curves on all parts of
the chairsfront, middle and back. August defined the six equal segments for each
quadrant of the 24 ft. diameter seating. Full size templates of the seating segments and
their plinth bases were furnished to guide production of the custom carpet with its
concentric circle details. The result was exactly the right seating to fit the architectural plan, with the service to carry the project from concept to installation, helping the customer achieve the image befitting a new headquarters. |
