Laurel Series Student Lounge
Main Hall Lobby seating serves many functions—islands allow visitors to move easily through entries; the chairs and benches bring color and texture to the entry and provide places to meet. Custom tables fill the centers of each island of chair segments.
Bunker Lounge on the first floor of the College Center is a central location for students to spend time between classes. Laurel Series chairs, benches and tables create interior architectural groupings, dividing the room’s large open space into smaller social areas. See floor plan at left. All units can be used individually or with each other, so that arrangements can be revised to new single or group seating. Non-skid glides have been used for the terrazzo floor; plinth base connectors hold groups in place. Modular Seating Student lounge
